I think my husband Jesse must be a young handsome version of Gandalf... He is a wizard, and he's dragged me from a quiet life of 28 years into the adventure of a lifetime!
The past three years, we've moved from Minnesota to Missoula Montana to Santa Cruz California to Minnesota to Helena Montana to San Diego and finally back to Missoula. We had a baby girl (now 2), started our own business (RosesMagic.etsy.com), travelled the whole west coast, lived in our Jeep, spent a year homeless in San Diego, started a website and community for redheads (RedHairedRoots.com), the list goes on! I've been forced to face my greatest fears and do things I swore I'd never do.
The only thing that has not changed is I still love LOTR!
For those interested in keeping up to date (relatively) on my wanderings and adventures, check out mountainrosetales.wordpress.com and spiraldragons.com. I hope to eventually chronicle all our adventures there - and trust me, it is a tale worth the reading!
Now with a home again, settling in is both difficult and comforting. It is wonderful to have my own space, but part of me misses being somewhere new each day, waking up on the cliffs by the ocean, and not having any dishes to do!
Watching my baby grow through all of this has been the most wonderful adventure of all...
